Ashlyn and Patten both
had birthdays in February.
Patten turned 1 on thursday. I made chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese and chocolate chips in the middle...Patten loved them. He started out by just dipping his finger in the frosting and then decided that it was okay so he stuffed his mouth. He was a messy boy! His sisters gave him extra attention and sang to him atleast ten times. I think that by the end
of the day he was ready for his birthday to be over.

I am not a big fan of barbie for obvious reasons but it was on sale and I can't pass up a good sale. I took Ashlyn to the store to pick out what kind of cake she wanted and she picked out white cake with cherry frosting. Not exactly what I would of chosen but she is the birthday girl. I must say that in the end it was an excellent choice. Ashlyn told me that she needs two birthdays a year. I totally agree. I can't believe how fast they grow up.
