Sedona

Here are a few pics from Bury and I's trip to Sedona!! We rented a Honda Goldwing motorcycle and had three days to ourselves! I was a little nervous at first, but Bury is a good rider (he should be from work) and we had a blast! We went hiking, and shopping, and riding up Oak Creek Canyon!! Next time we need to go with some friends, any takers?

Birthdays

Ashlyn and Patten both
had birthdays in February.
Patten turned 1 on thursday. I made chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese and chocolate chips in the middle...Patten loved them. He started out by just dipping his finger in the frosting and then decided that it was okay so he stuffed his mouth. He was a messy boy! His sisters gave him extra attention and sang to him atleast ten times. I think that by the end of the day he was ready for his birthday to be over.

Ashlyn turned three the sunday before Pattens birthday. She got her pink cake and barbie bike. I am not a big fan of barbie for obvious reasons but it was on sale and I can't pass up a good sale. I took Ashlyn to the store to pick out what kind of cake she wanted and she picked out white cake with cherry frosting. Not exactly what I would of chosen but she is the birthday girl. I must say that in the end it was an excellent choice. Ashlyn told me that she needs two birthdays a year. I totally agree. I can't believe how fast they grow up.

February

Valentines Day! The girls wanted to have a party so with the help of their friend Emmalee they made invites and had 12 friends over. Here they are making heart cookies and decorating them. They piled on the frosting and lots of candy.
During the party Patten kept himself busy.
He is Mr. Adventure. I always come around the corner and find him sorting out my cupboards. He also started walking this month. He roams all around the house trying to keep up with the girls. He adores wrestling with his sisters and daddy. When Bury comes home he gets this huge smile on his face and knows that it is time to play.

They had lots of fun playing in the back yard and of course playing dress up. The girls were putting on a fashion show for us.

Vegas

So we went to Vegas to celebrate my birthday... not in the traditional "Vegas" way. Bury and Tyler ( my brother-in-law) watched the kids while my sister, Christina and I went to St. George Utah to attend Srapfest. Which is a convention where women get together and get caught up on their scrap books and win free stuff. There was over 60 women who where extremely excited to scrap book. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed a short break away from the kids. Now that we are home we have returned to reality...which means that we continue to do a lot of fix-it jobs on our house.

Sorry

Okay, we know it has been a bit since our last post, but it is because we have been so busy! Honestly, but this weekend we are going to Vegas for Jen's birthday and she will be attending a Scrapbooking Convention, so we'll post about all of that later!
